Marion Housing Authority

The Marion Housing Authority was incorporated in 1968 and provides a variety of housing options. Its public housing program provides rental housing options to eligible low-income families, senior citizens and people with disabilities. The authority s Section 8 Choice Voucher Program provides federally funded housing assistance payments to low-income families. Its Family Self-Sufficiency program assists Section 8 and public housing participants in achieving economic independence and self-sufficiency. The authority also administers a homeownership program. The Marion Housing Authority s partners include the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Indiana Housing Finance Authority. It is located in Marion, Ind.
