Julie Schnieders, CNP, is the executive director of the St. Vincent Carmel Women's Center and a board-certified women's health care nurse practitioner by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She is in a practice that diagnoses and treats women of all ages. She has a special interest in menopause and pelvic health. She received her master's in nursing from Indiana University and since that time had devoted her career to the care of women. Through St. Vincent Women's Health Services, Julie is part of the core team that has developed the High-risk Breast Clinic, Pelvic Health Program, Women's Cardiac Risk Clinic, and Taketime4U wellness programs and education. She is also a founding member of the Center for Hope (an Indianapolis metro treatment center based in emergency departments for individuals who have been sexually assaulted). Julie is a frequent guest lecturer on a variety of women's health topics at community events and professional healthcare meetings. Julie's goal is to take care of women as they spend their lives taking care of everyone else.
