A level 3 Paths to Quality Preschool. Our teachers have a degree in Early Childhood Education, a CDA or they are working towards one of the two. All of our teachers have taken Safe Sleep classes for Infants and Toddlers. We also require all of our teachers to be CPR and First Aid certified. We believe in making learning fun. Therefore, we learn through play. A typical day consists of playing outside, playing in the senroy tables, painting at easels, having circle time, playing in the our classroom centers, and learning with fun table activities. Our preschool loves playing with playdough, slime and oobleck. We enjoy building with blocks, legos, lincoln logs and stem straws. Pretending to dress up as different people, take care of babies and pretending to cook are some of our dramatic play favorites. Children enjoy many different science experiments. We've made exploding paint with paint and alka seltzer tabs and discovered invisible ink with lemons and water on black paper. We are always up for a challenge and looking for new and exciting ways to learn. We also enjoy bringing in people that want to educate our children such as dental hygienists, police officers, firefighters, doctors or farmers. Some of our annual field trips include going to the apple orchard, going to the pumpkin patch, going to parks to explore the different playgrounds and hike on the trails, going strawberry picking in the spring, Monkey Joes and the Children's Museum in the winter.
