History
Peak Audio was founded in 2004 under the direction of Roni Szpakowski and Jason Allison in South Bend, IN. Roni, a new media and audio production graduate from Manchester, England, moved to the US to pursue musical opportunities abroad and to experience life across the pond. Jason, originally from Ohio, has lived in Sound Bend for the better part of his life, playing bass and performing back-up vocals in countless bands. After deciding sound engineering/recording was his real talent, Jason made the full-time switch to behind the desk. Jason and Roni formed Peak Audio as a home-based experiment that turned into an extraordinarily busy recording studio that produced music for soon-to-be signed clients and in-house tracks featured on MTV's Real World and NBC's Biggest Loser. In 2008, Roni moved back to the UK and started Peak Studios (our sister studio) and Jason began to plan Peak Audio's move into a much larger and new studio. Today, Jason and new partners Nate Howell and Kipp Koonc
