History
In 1894, a consortium of Kentland businessmen and women combined to build a Hotel for the community. The Hotel Kentland closed its doors to guiests in 1969, but a few years prior to that date, in 1964, another visionary couple transformed the downstairs of the hotel into a restaurant called the Old Colonial Inn. 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of their endeavor.
