Munger Park is a 32-acre park located in the northeast portion of Lafayette, Indiana. It offers a variety of amenities including a 1-mile paved trail, a 100-seat picnic shelter available for rent, a multi-age playground, open green space, and wildflower areas. The park also features a pond where fishing is permitted, and it is part of the DNR's urban fishing program called Go FishIN in the City.
Dedicated in 1997, Munger Park was made possible by a generous donation from Thomas and Alice Munger, as well as land donated by Cinergy-PSI. The park provides a peaceful and scenic environment for walking, picnicking, and enjoying outdoor activities in Lafayette.
