Established in 1924, Mishawaka High School consists of several departments, including English, science, math, social studies, languages, technology, business and art. The school provides a program in physical education for boys and girls, including intramural activities and interscholastic competition. Located in Mishawaka, Ind., the school is a three-storey building that covers an area of more than 16 acres. Its facility consist of an auditorium, cafeteria, library, industrial education wing, classrooms, reading laboratory, music room, play fields and a study hall. It also consists of a gym with a seating capacity for more than 4,000 people. The school s industrial wing houses a manufacturing lab that provides training in hydraulics, pneumatics, lathes and milling machines. The school also has a construction lab that offers information on framing, roof systems, foundations and materials.
