History
McCloud Nature Park opened on May 3, 2003. The truss bridge was installed in 2010. The arboretum was added in 2016, the live interactive honeybee hives in 2017, and the wetlands boardwalk and observation deck in 2018.

McCloud Nature Park is 232 acres of woods, glacial ravines, prairie, and creek that includes 6.5 miles of hiking trails, Big Walnut Creek, a nature center, interactive exhibits, weekly nature programming, a restored historic truss bridge, and more.
