Marshall County REMC is an electric cooperative located in Plymouth, Indiana. Incorporated in 1935, Marshall County REMC has provided dependable electricity and quality service to its members for over sixty years. Primarily serving Marshall County, the REMC also serves portions of St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, Fulton and Starke Counties.Marshall County REMC is proud to be a cooperative, owned by the residential, commercial and industrial customers its serves. An eleven member board of directors is elected by the member-owners who depend on the Board to provide leadership and entrust it with the responsibility of governing the corporation.A cooperative is different from an Investor Owned Utility ( IOU ) because a co-op is owned by the people and businesses it serves.
