The Lebanon Public Library, established in 1905, is located in Lebanon, Ind. Taxpayers in Ulen, the city of Lebanon and Center Township fund the library. A board comprising seven trustees sets the policies based on laws governing public libraries in Indiana. The library has different departments for adults, children and young adults. It also has many other departments such as the audio-visual department, reference department, genealogy department, technical services department and the circulation department. Some of its services include home delivery, extension services, memorials and job postings. Other miscellaneous services include a copy machine facility, typewriter, study rooms, requests for print material and audio cassettes, computers and Internet facility, Microfilm and Microfiche reader and printer, tax forms, interlibrary loan, large print collection and information and readers advisory service.
