Johnson-Witkemper Insurance was started in 1987 with Bill Witkemper and Steve Johnson. Steve Johnson is an owner and CEO of locally owned Marvin Johnson & Associates, Inc. Marvin Johnson & Associates became the sole owner in 2008. Steve used the values, tradition, and training that made Marvin Johnson & Associates a success, and instilled them in the people working for JWI today. Johnson-Witkemper Insurance Services aquired First Financial Insurance business on August 1st, 2010. Johnson-Witkemper Insurance Services then aquired Miller-Hawes-Phelan Insurance Group on December 1st, 2010.
