Upright MRIs are a more comfortable alternative to traditional scans. It is much more open, and most common scans are done in a seated, upright position. At Upright MRI, there is no confining tunnel and less noise than traditional MRIs making it ideal for everyone including larger and claustrophobic patients or patients who find lying down for an MRI physically uncomfortable or a source of anxiety or stress.
