Indiana Landmarks saves the places that matter to Hoosiers--houses, barns, bridges, churches, schools, downtown districts, vintage neighborhoods. By restoring and repurposing historic buildings, we reconnect people to heritage and revitalize communities. To share our cultural heritage, we offer public tours of historic places around the state.

Specialties

Our City Market Catacombs tour takes you beneath the Whistler Plaza of City Market. Along the way, guides share stories of two historic buildings, City Market and Tomlinson Hall. Tours depart from the Mezzanine of Indianapolis City Market. We offer public tours on select Saturdays, May-October. New for 2021 - select tour dates in March and early April. Interesting tour and a knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed learning about the history of Indy and how the buildings were used. These aren't actually catacombs but it's still a good way to spend time...

We went on a paranormal tour during the Halloween season and had a blast. Tickets were 20$ I have always wanted to go down to the catacombs and it didn't disappoint.
