Established in 1968, HealthNet provides health care services throughout Indiana. It serves more than 42,000 patients and operates several health care centers in the state. It provides the Better Indy Babies program, which includes maternity clothes, baby supplies, food stamps and preterm labor counseling options. HealthNet offers the Homeless Initiative Program, which provides special assistance for homeless veterans. It provides the Healthy Families program, which includes a variety of services, such as child development, health care and parent education. HealthNet s health centers include the Barrington Health Center, Care Center at the Tower, Martindale-Brightwood Health & Dental Center, People s Health & Dental Center, Southeast Health & Dental Center, Southwest Health Center and Southwest OB/GYN Annex. It is accredited by The Joint Commission. HealthNet is located in Indianapolis.
