History
In 1989, when the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana was officially created, the Board of Directors and supporters held the belief that all children can read and not even a diagnosis of dyslexia should stop them from learning. In 1990, this energetic group of parents established Camp Delafield, a summer day camp providing intense academic remediation in the morning and conventional recreational programs in the afternoon. Now, after more than 20 years, DII has grown to offer many different services.
