High School of St Thomas More
The High School of Saint Thomas More is a faith-based learning center that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music, computer applications and art. The school additionally provides special classes in Spanish, band, chorus, drama and visual arts. It operates a guidance counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. The school also maintains a library that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of leisure reading options for students. It offers a range of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf, cross-country, cheerleading, swimming, wrestling, football, and track and field. The school operates the Parent Association, which is a parent-teacher organization that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff members. It is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. The High School of Saint Thomas More is located in Champaign, Ill.
