Established in 1954, the Cardinal Center is a community-based, nonprofit social service organization that offers a range of support services for adults and children with disabilities. It serves more than 3,000 people annually in Kosciusko, Marshall, Cass and Fulton counties in Indiana. With over 525 employees, the Cardinal Center works to meet the individualized needs of patients. It provides adult day care, job placement and supported living assistance services. The organization also offers 24-hour medical supervision and training for the development of daily living skills. It provides Head Start, a development program for children that focuses on educational, nutritional, medical and dental services. The Cardinal Center offers employment opportunities in the areas of product assembly, distribution, inventory control, mailing, packaging, sorting and collating through CCI Manufacturing. It is a member of the United Way of America and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, as well as accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
