City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, located in Bloomington, Ind., offers numerous facilities and recreational programs for the city s residents. It offers a number of city parks and trails for sports purposes. In addition, it offers a community center that features meeting rooms, a gymnasium, a kitchen and library. The center also features a large-screen television and videocassette recorder unit, table tennis and pool tables. The department runs an adult community center that features a game room, dining room, ballroom, craft room, and conference room that has banquet tables and round tables. It also runs a golf course clubhouse, ice arena, and a lodge that overlooks the sports park. Additionally, the department organizes a number of community events and concerts.
