In 1989 Jerry Arnold began his career in the jewelry business as a full time salesperson with Fox's Jewelers in the Logansport Mall. He quickly moved up to Assistant manager and then to manager in 1992. Jerry managed the Logansport Mall Fox's and the Lafayette, Indiana Tippecanoe Mall Fox's Jewelry stores until 1997 when Fred Meyer Jewelers of Portland, Oregon acquired the 45 store Fox's chain. Jerry continued to manage for Fred Meyer October of 2001. In November of 2001 Jerry and a business partner opened a jewelry store in Peru, Indiana. After three years in that endeavor, Jerry sold his 50% share of that store and opened Arnold's Jewelry and Gifts in the Logansport Mall... ( the former site of Fox's and Fred Meyer Jewelers. ) While employed with Fox's and Fred Meyers Jewelers, Jerry Arnold was awarded many awards such as Manager of the year, President's Club and the 2.00 carat club for expertise in large diamond sales. Jerry Arnold was also a traveling trainer for Fred Meyer Jewelers working in several stores in New Jersey. Jerry has attended numerous seminars including Zig Ziglar, Shane Decker, Rudolph Giuliani more. Jerry also took the GIA diamond grading course in 1989. Jewelry and Gifts is a Master IJO jeweler, a member of the Jewelers of America the Cass County Chamber of Commerce.
