Community Unit School District 205, founded in 1888, offers education to more than 7,600 students in grades kindergarten through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as fine arts, business, English, mathematics, finance, science, computers and technology. The schools also offer subjects that include graphic design, business management, physical education, social studies, and career and technical education. It offers a wide range of services, such as career counseling, academic guidance, scholarship information and financial aid. The facilities provided by the schools include a library, and media and learning center. It offers a variety of sports activities, including football, cross country, soccer, wrestling and swimming.
