Opened in 1909 as an opera house and a second floor meeting hall for the Independent Order of Oddfellows, the Wildey has undergone many transformations. Recognizing the importance of the Wildey Theatre to the overall downtown, the City has resurrected the theatre.

Went to a $2 Tuesday night movie and fell in love with the Wildey. A nostalgic experience. Buying tickets at the ticket booth under the marquee made me feel like I was stepping back in time....

What a great place to catch a live play or concert. They always have good quality entertainment and a wide variety of musical tastes. The dueling piano concerts are really fun! Good leg room...

Let's get the pronunciation right: It's the "Wile"-"dee" Theater, with a long "I" sound. If you're a fan of the old roadrunner cartoon, then you might try to remember that it rhymes with "Wile E."...
