Established in 1941 as Industrial Tool Works and later incorporated as Wiegel Tool Works, the company occupies a 50,000-square-foot building that is located 15 minutes north of Chicago. It specializes in complete turnkey packages. Everything from helping a company in the design phases of their piece parts and fully integrated progressive dies, to the manufacturing of the die onsite, which includes troubleshooting, debugging and PPAP requirements done in its climate controlled quality laboratory. Wiegel specializes in terminals and sockets, bus arrays and busbars, as well as electronic stampings. Materials include coppers, bronze and beryllium copper.
