Outreach Community Ministries is a faith-based non-profit organization that offers counseling, tutoring, shelter and education assistance to low-income families in need. Founded in 1971, Outreach Community Ministries is committed to working with children from kindergarten through college age, as well as single mothers and senior citizens. Outreach services up to 2,000 people each year, and has multiple facilities, including its main Community Center in Carol Stream. The Wheaton Youth Outreach Center deals with transitional housing programs, community counseling, crisis intervention, case management, consultation and church social work.
