Reopening in our new space Fall 2022 Volumes Bookcafe is Wicker Park's neighborhood independent bookstore cafe. We aim to create a warm and inviting community space for book lovers of all ages. Volumes is a family owned business, brought to life by two Chicago area sisters. Rebecca and Kimberly have always had careers that were intertwined with books. While Kimberly was spending her career in early childhood, introducing youngsters to the power of reading, Rebecca was spending her career in secondary and higher education, trying desperately to keep students reading. While academia has its perks, both sisters longed for a different career that could still bring their passion for learning and reading into the community at large.
