HistoryI obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Northeastern University in China. I came to America at age 23 and obtained a Master's Degree in Human Services, majoring in Child and Family Studies, in 2006. In 2014, I obtained a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. During the years, I have worked at various mental health places, such as community mental health centers, correctional facilities, Illinois state government, and private practice.SpecialtiesBesides general issues, such as depression and anxiety among the general population, my specialty is in the area of children and adolescence mental health and behavioral health. I am specialized working with children and adolescents with psychological and behavioral problems, including but not limited to, developmental delays, learning disorders, mental retardation, Asperser's Syndrom, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiance, social/ peer-relationship difficulties, bipolar disorders, depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), low self-esteem, parent-child conflicts, authority problems, etc. My training has been in testing and treating children and adolescents with developmental, learning, and behavioral problems.
