History
The studio was founded in 1979 to give area children the joy of making music. Rhona has a structured approach including her own technique book which has just been published. Students are well grounded in basics but taught to make music using their individual expression. Expectations are high but are done in a supportive environment. Alumni have attended many prestigious universities and have gone on to both musical and non musical careers. Their common thread is that all have sustained a positive work ethic and have music as a part of their lives. Currently, the studio has 40 students ranging in age from 3 - 18 from several communities in the area.
