History
The Spreckman Group is the product of the evolution of the Jewelry industry in Chicago. Founded in 1944 as a Wholesale distributor to the midwest jewelry market, Hy Spreckman and Sons, Inc. would continue to manufacture fine bridal jewelry under the Blu-Ray Trademark for the next 70 years. A true family business with a masterful sales force, Hy Spreckman would eventually incorporate and distribute ownership within the family for 3 generations. With all of the changes in the shopping habits and behaviors of todays consumers, the longevity and success of a business is more dependent than ever on recognizing the need for a multi-tiered plan to execute and maximize exposure on 3 fronts. The Spreckman Group continues to service its wholesale customers, while becoming a resource to the direct online customer. We direct the casual shopper to retailers who carry and continue to support the Blu-ray line of jewelry. We also offer custom jewelry design services directly to the consumer.
