Founded in 2005, The Comedy Shrine is the home of the Sinker Swim Comedy Troupe. This perfoming arts and improv theater doubles as a museum featuring more than 300 antiques and pieces of memorabilia from comic legends like the Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Abbott and Costello, the Three Stooges and Laurel and Hardy. The Comedy Shrine hosts live performances by professional comedians, as well as improv and comedy writing classes taught by professional actors. Daily and weekly events include Open Mike Night, Ladies Night, Who's Line performances, the Family Show and the adults-only Naughty Show.
Update: The Comedy Shrine moved to Aurora in 2011.
