While not a challenge based on its length (a modest 6484 yards from the tips), Sunset Valley's tight fairways make it a challenge for golfers of all levels. The course averages roughly 200 rounds a day, with much of the business coming from senior and youth golfers. The course features two ponds and a creek that create water hazards on a third of the holes. Managed by the Park District of Highland Park, this "sneaky hard" course is open to all.
