Established in 1936, St. Jacob Elementary School serves more than 200 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its facilities include a library, television broadcast studio, gymnasium and cafeteria. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors activities, including classroom parties, field trips and assemblies. St. Jacob Elementary School cafeteria's offer breakfast and lunch options. In addition, the school provides speech therapy sessions that include the diagnosis of various impairments, such as language, fluency, voice auditory disorders, and articulation. Its study team provides early identification, intervention, referral and follow-up services for students with learning difficulties. The school conducts field trips, as well as classroom events. Located in St. Jacob, Ill., St. Jacob Elementary School is owned and operated by the Triad Community Unit School District, which operates several other schools.
