The Special Education Association of Peoria County works to serve children with diverse needs through an environment that is a part of general education and includes a range of specialized services. It administers a pre-vocational exploration and training program that includes supported on-the-job training for future employees. The association also offers the Secondary transitional Experience Program, which includes solutions that provide opportunity to develop social and personal skills to maintain successful employment. The Special Education Association of Peoria County serves educational institutions, such as Pleasant valley District 62, Norwood Elementary School District 63 and Brimfield Community Unit School District 309.
