The First Seventh-Day Adventist Church is a member of the Lake Region Conference. It is on Dodge Avenue just south of Emerson Street. The church offers Sunday school, Sunday worship services, Bible study and vacation Bible school during the summer. Pastor Richard Sylvester presides over the church.

Springfield Baptist Church is located on Emerson Street between Asbury Avenue and Bennett Avenue. The groundbreaking ceremony for the church was held in 1946 and the first part of the building was finished in 1948, but Second Baptist Church's roots extend a bit farther back, to the early 1930s. St. Andrew's Pentecost is an Episcopal Church with a multicultural congregation. Only 40 percent of the congregation live in Evanston, so surrounding communities are welcome to come worship. Members of the church volunteer in the community to spread the love of God and help those in need.
