School District 170's McKinley Elementary School and Washington Junior High share a building, hence the name Washington-McKinley. Rhonda Sneed is lead administrator for Washington, with Crimea Bell leading McKinley. McKinley is one of two schools in District 170 that are part of the Griffin Early Childhood Center, a tuition-free preschool program for children ages 3-5.
