San Jose Map
San Jose (i/sæn d?o?z/) is a village in both Logan County and Mason County, Illinois, United States, founded in 1858. The population was 696 at the 2000 census.
The town of San Jose was founded in 1858. The village was named by Alexander W. Morgan. San Jose is known as the Tri-County village, having its town limits in Mason, Logan and Tazewell counties. It has long been known as a farming community and still prides itself on the same. The Village of San Jose recently hosted its Sesquicentennial on June 27–29, 2008.
