Founded in 1945, Roosevelt University is an urban, independent, full-service, private, coeducational institution of higher learning that offers a range of educational opportunities for students. It maintains campuses in campuses in Chicago and Schaumburg in Illinois. The university serves more than 7,500 students annually. Roosevelt University offers undergraduate programs in psychology, accounting, business administration, biology, and training and development. It also provides instruction in integrated marketing communication, art history, political science and public administration. The university works with a team of over 600 full- and part-time staff members. Roosevelt University has a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. It maintains the Center for Student Involvement, which supports a variety of student organizations designed to enhance campus life, student leadership and learning outside classroom.
