Prairie Isle is on the far East side of Crystal Lake. Owned by a former PGA star, John Babcock, Prairie Isle offers one 18-hole course with a 72 par. This course has golf-carts, which are mandatory before noon on the weekends, and a completely non-smoking facility.

The course is fine. It's cheaper than other courses in the area, but you get what you pay for. They have not maintained the cart path, so there are large pot holes, cracks etc. The carts backfire...
