Peru Volunteer Ambulance Service Inc. provides 24-hour emergency care to the residents of Peru, Peru Township, and Dimmick Township. We are a not-for-profit organization and operate at the State's highest level, Paramedic or ALS. We are non-taxing. This means we levy no taxes to pay for services or equipment. We maintain a minimum of four emergency medical technicians ready to respond to your emergency 24 hours every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year! Besides responding to emergencies, we contribute our medical services to community events, such as parades, numerous run/walk/bike events, baseball tournaments, Fourth of July and educational activities at our schools. We provide CPR certification and recertification to local first responders, fire departments, and CNA classes at the area vocational center. These classes are also available to area industries and businesses.
