In the mid 1960's, Diane Skoug, a high school teacher, met, fell in love, and married Roger Huth, a Midwestern farmer On the Huth family farm, Diane and Roger raised their five sons: Charles, Richard, Arvid, Benjamin, and Maynard. When Arvid (age 21) decided it was time to pursue his version of the American dream, he convinced his younger brother Benjamin (age 19), to join him. Reluctantly, the two brothers sold seven of their cows, their two snowmobiles, and borrowed $10,000 from their parents. Then Arvid and Ben packed their bags and headed for the big city.
