HistoryAfter graduation from college I enlisted in the Air Force and played for 4 years as an Air Force musician. After my discharge from the Air Force, I started teaching part time and working other full time jobs. About 1990, I became a full time music teacher and eventually learned piano tuning about 20 years ago and added that as a service to my teaching. I have been a professional musician for over 30 years, playing concerts, weddings, parties etc. Currently, I play solo piano for parties, luncheons and all occasions. I am also a profession woodworker making and repairing piano benches and other custom designed wood objects and furniture.SpecialtiesMusic teacher. Piano tuner. Pianist. I come to your home for music lessons. I teach piano and guitar. I use a unique play by ear chord system which allows all students to start playing popular songs immediately. Along with this play by ear method, I also make sure that all students learn to read notes and count rhythm accurately. I teach all styles. Classical, popular, blues, jazz and rock plus improvisation with chords so that students learn to accompany themselves or another player or singer. Piano tuner.
