Living Word Lutheran Church serves as a house of worship and a preschool. Led by Pastor Steven Lange, the church opened in 1990 with five families, and has since grown to include several classes, ministries and activities for children and adults, along with religious services. Several groups gather throughout the year, including an adult fellowship, a "Moms and Tots" group for mothers and children not old enough for preschool and a weekday nighttime bible study. Living Word hosts an annual Vacation Bible Study, which runs over the course of a week during the summer. Several music programs, volunteer efforts and ministries are also held within the church.
