Golf Maine Park District serves about 20,000 residents in the unincorporated area north and west of Niles. The district boundaries are about one mile square, and it is surrounded by the Niles, Park Ridge, Des Plaines and Glenview park districts. Golf Maine Park District has facilities in two locations. The one at 8800 Kathy Lane, Niles, has a large building with a gymnasium, walking/running track and large multi-purpose room. There is also a large green space. The other location, on Dee Road in Des Plaines, has outdoor ball fields for basketball and baseball. It also has tennis courts, a nature area and a cricket pitch.
