WOKY is one of the more than 1,200 locally owned and programmed radio stations operated by Clear Channel Radio, a division of Clear Channel Communications. Tuned to 920 on the AM dial, WOKY is a legendary station in Milwaukee. It began in 1950 and was Milwaukee s leading Top 40 station through the 1960s and early 1970s.
