The Midwest Center for Children's Development is a NARHA-accredited center and member of the AHA (American Hippotherapy Association). MCCD provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Their approach uses an equine-assisted model, using a horse as one tool in the treatment. Sessions are typically an hour long, which includes both time on the horse and time using other therapy tools that are based on the child's specific therapeutic goals. Services are offered for children aged 4-months and older.
