Marillac House is a nonprofit organization that offers a wide range of programs for children, teenage mothers and the homebound elderly. It has a child care staff that works with the social services department and provides for the needs of more than 350 children. The centers child care services include education, nutritious food, medication and field trips. It also offers various facilities, such an in-house library, computer lab and art room. The social service department provides educational opportunities to enhance parenting skills, help with financial management and interpersonal relationships, and individual and group therapies. It additionally offers day care, clothing, transit passes and short-term counseling. The center is affiliated by Affiliations Daughters of Charity, St. Vincent de Paul Center, A Doula Story and St. Joseph Services. Marillac House is located in Chicago.
