Lincoln-Way West is the fourth high school in the public Lincoln-Way system, and it opened in 2009. Its mascot is the Warriors, and the school offers a huge variety of clubs and sports for students.
The Lincoln-Way schools are all very large and provide top-notch facilities. District administrators are also proud that its high schools have test scores that rank in the top 11 percent of all 656 Illinois high schools, and that Lincoln-Way has one of the lowest per-pupil expenditures in the Chicago area.
Students living within the Lincoln-Way boundaries of Liberty Junior High in New Lenox School District No. 122 and the Lincoln-Way boundaries of Union School District attend Lincoln-Way West.
