Opened in August 2007, the College of DuPage Early Childhood Center provides preschool and kindergarten education in a setting where college students can observe and participate as part of their academic course work. The children's programs emphasize the value of play and include music, science, art, math, literacy, cooking and campus field trips. All classes are led by teachers with at least a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. The Center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and is located west of Lambert Road between College Road and Circle Drive.
