Homewood-Flossmoor High School, established in1959, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students, and its curriculum includes business education, family and consumer sciences, industrial technology, English, mathematics, social studies, computers, and health and physical education. The sports activities offered by the school include golf, soccer, football, cross country, cheerleading, field hockey, swimming and diving, volleyball, tennis, wrestling and gymnastics. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities, such as the National Honor Society, dramatics, band, debates, literary magazine, newspaper, scholastic bowl, yearbook, pear counseling, and choral and chess clubs. Homewood-Flossmoor High School is located in Flossmoor, Ill.
