Established in 1972, Korean American Community Services, also known as KACS, is a community social service organization that serves more than 7,000 clients each year. It has assisted more than 500 Koreans at varying stages of the immigration and citizenship process through various services. The organization also conducts classes in basic computer skills for beginners. It also offers the English as a Second Language program, which serves immigrants from Korea, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Poland, Morocco and India. KACS public health and benefits department provides information and referral, case management and interpretation services, as well as organizes educational workshops. The organization additionally hosts job fairs twice a year to help jobseekers in gaining employment. Korean American Community Services is located in Chicago.
