The Montessori School of Western Springs offers both extended day and full day preschool along with half and full day kindergarten. Its program is located within the Kensington school in the Recreation Center. It has been in operation since 1984 and in this building since 1997.
Miss Beth, as she is known by the students, says "preschool is where my heart is." In March of 1997, she earned the first annual Preschool Teacher Legacy Award for her work as director and teacher at the school. Her large classroom offers a variety of opportunities for children to explore, discover and learn in a wonderful environment.
