According to its mission statement, Kappa Kappa Gamma is "an organization of women, which seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles."
The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority was founded on the Northwestern University campus in 1892. Joining a sorority can be a great way to make lasting friendships, build a smaller community within the university campus, and find opportunities for leadership and service.
